As part of our continuing success and ambitious growth plans, we are seeking a big thinker with deep Cloud, Integration, PowerCenter, B2B and Big Data knowledge and experience to contribute to our strong leadership in this practice area. You will specialize in one of Informatica’s key growth areas: Informatica Cloud. The role will be based in India but responsible for supporting the requests from all over APJ. Working either independently, with or within a team, you will have the opportunity to work at the front end in a rapidly growing business.
You’ll act as an important technical member of the sales team and work to ensure technical wins during sales cycles by performing technical qualification of opportunities, architect solutions, performing solution demonstrations, and proving Informatica’s technical capabilities. This is an exciting and challenging role, offering the chance to strategize, design, create and execute new sales solutions for customers of different verticals/industry.
You will be supporting the APJ Sales & Pre-Sales teams with your in-depth Cloud Integration expertise. A key part of this role is explaining the benefit of Informatica’s Cloud Solution (such as the architecture, features, technical/business benefits, etc.) to prospects through presentations, detailed discussions, Custom demos, and other proof points in order to reinforce the value proposition driven by the account team.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Help Account and Presales team in responding to RFP/RFI. Develop compelling Custom demos which includes design and development of cloud and hybrid integrations, creation of cloud APIs and service orchestrations, interfaces and extensions to meet customer requirements. Provide technical depth concerning Informatica’ s solutions in discussions with customers, partners and internal resources. Adhere to all internal reporting requirements in a timely manner Grow and enhance your personal knowledge of industry trends, company solutions, information technology, and your competition Share knowledge across the team and continuously develop and enhance personal and team capabilities.
Required skills & experience Hands-on experience of Informatica Cloud, PowerCenter and similar competitive products You have relevant experience and deep technical knowledge of cloud applications (SaaS), Middleware (PaaS), IaaS, enterprise software or/and enterprise middleware products. Experience with a leading Cloud Data Integration products such as Dell Boomi, Mulesoft or Talend is a plus You are comfortable being hands-on with Cloud products and technologies while also able to articulate the value proposition/story at varying depth depending upon audience types – Integration Experts, Customers, Partners, Decision Makers, Business and Sales Knowledge and experience with “Cloud” applications including AWS, Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Live, or others. Experience with technology standards such as Databases, NOSQL, Application Servers, and data standards and protocols such as XML, JSON, REST etc. Good handle on current trends in data integration and business analytics technologies; Experience in developing conceptual and physical solution architectures for solutions incorporating heterogeneous applications, technologies and platforms; E xperience with EAI, BPM, Java, Web services (REST & SOAP protocols) Experience designing and deploying in a Services Oriented Architecture and/or an Events Driven Architecture Experience in Data Integration, Data Warehousing, Data Quality, Business Intelligence and RBDMS 5+ years of experience in implementation and/or partner pre-sales / pre- sales Ability to "think big" and grasp the overall picture, including the business drivers; Must be able to solve problem outside your areas of expertise;
