Job Description

Role 1: RCSA Control Analyst - Grade 601

Key Responsibilities:
Provide overall supervision / leadership to the staff during his/ her shift operating window.

Manage Performance on metrics that drive team as well as site performance

Develop an environment of continuous focus on quantifiable productivity and quality

Constantly review existing processes and look for opportunities to enhance efficiency

Identify business knowledge gaps and ensure everyone has ownership of deliverables

Constant and regular review for direct reports. Set expectations with direct reports, regarding positive motivation and leading through accountability

Work towards improving department competency /performance ratings

Develop and lead a team that is responsive to dynamic organizational and operational changes

Foster and champion High Performance Culture where people are empowered to make decisions that affect their work/environment

Additional Skills:

Internal Qualifications:
7 to 10 years in the financial services industry; including background in operational risk management, audit, compliance, or operations

Good understanding of Operations functions and processes.

Relevant risk management experience and awareness either gathered through a risk or audit role, although would consider other relevant experience

Working experience in developing, tracking, analyzing and reporting on key risk indicators

Self-motivated & confident decision-maker with the ability to demonstrate leadership, challenging and influencing change where necessary

Strong interpersonal and analytic skills, particularly influencing and negotiation

Collaborative team player able to develop meaningful and effective working relationships with fellow colleagues

Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical and documentation skills, as well as orientation to details

Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines within a team environment

Team Leader – Fraud Recovery

The Fraud process plays a key role in contributing to the profitability of Chase and directly impact our bottom line by retaining valued customers and minimizing credit losses resulting from Fraud.

Key Responsibilities:
The Fraud Recovery Team Leader will supervise a staff of 15 - 18 Specialists with the primary goal of providing direction for the team to achieve performance goals.

The Team Leader is expected to give timely and consistent feedback and coaching, focus on increasing both customer and employee satisfaction and create mutual commitments with his or her direct reports in working on their development objectives.

The ideal candidate should be an effective communicator. He or she must also have the ability to balance employee morale and motivation with business objectives, including customer satisfaction, error-free rate, recovery rate, probability variance, net fraud loss and efficiency. Lastly, the candidate is expected to thrive in a dynamic environment while being proactive at meeting the needs of the Fraud and Support team, participating in projects, contributing to a strong, focused culture and living by the firm's operating principles.

Proven ability to train, coach and motivate employees;

Proven ability to evaluate employee performance;

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines;

Motivated, self starter and willingness to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business;

Strong written and verbal communication skills;

PC skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Commitment to and demonstration of Chase Operating Principles

Leadership or experience in managing staff is an advantage

Graduate in any discipline or equivalent

18 months or above in JPMC from the date of Joining.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
