Role title: Circle SME Head Function: VBS
Band: G/F2/F1 Department: Sales
Reports to: Enterprise VBS Head Location: At Circle
Role purpose: This position is responsible for the operations of the SME business for the circle. This position will appropriately deploy the necessary resources to gain market share in the segment. The incumbent shall also provide necessary guidance to the Partner Account managers & other circle teams to be able to capture planned market share in the geography.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

• To plan, budget, deliver segment revenues and contribution margins over a planning horizon including management of the subscriber acquisition costs
• To implement coverage and distribution strategies aimed at delivering targeted product sales
• To design and implement standardized sales management processes & build scale in the operations
• To position the organization and the Vodafone customer story to key customer groups, customer syndicates, external partners and other stakeholders
• Help shape customer understanding and drive functional expertise in the segment by organizing / participating in customer forums and building a knowledge base across the organization Core competencies, knowledge and experience [max 5]:
• Channel Sales management experience
• Knowledge of technology marketing
• Experience in a start-up environment
• Experience in working in a matrix environment
• Commercial knowledge

Budget owned:
- Circle Revenue and contribution margin for the segment
- Subscriber Acquisition Costs for the segment
Key performance indicators [max 3]:
• Circle Sales Revenue & Contribution Margin
• Distribution and coverage targets
• Customer Satisfaction scores for the segment

Direct reports:
Direct – 2 / 3

Dotted reports:
6/8 PAM’s across all zones

HSW Responsibilities and Accountability Expanded: -
• Intervene to ensure a safe work environment for all permanent employees, associates/off-rolls employees, distributors, direct or indirect channels engaged or managed directly or indirectly, contractors, service providers, consultants and or vendors and their employees (hereinafter referred to as “1@risk ”) who work with or for Vodafone India Limited.
• Promptly report any unsafe act, condition or any violation of Absolute Safety Rules.
• Review the HSW performance of team on regular basis and drive improvement initiatives and timely implementation of corrective actions.

• Engage at various touch-points on a regular basis for sensitization, review and appreciation of HSW compliance
• Ensure safety management on-boarding for all new joinees and refresher programmes from time to time
• Monitor completion of mandatory HSW training by 1@risk on regular basis

Must have technical / professional qualifications:


• Preferred Telecom Engineer
