The Marketing Manager, India will drive focused marketing strategy and implementation for the assigned region. As the marketing lead and primary liaison to the sales team, this field based position is a senior role requiring experience both in managing the core lead development activities as well as partner demand gen programs execution. This individual will be responsible for the planning, execution and tracking of an integrated regional/country marketing and communications plan focusing on building the pipeline.
What you get to do in this role:
Drive marketing programs and execution to deliver pipeline coverage for sales organization.
Work closely with sales leadership and regional marketing to ensure that integrated marketing plans and lead acquisition programs, aligned with Sales objectives and go-to-market are implemented and optimized
Drive to make sure that leads from marketing activities are being handled by Global Demand Center and followed up on in a timely manner
Work with marketing operations to measure, evaluate, and improve every marketing campaign
Help to drive marketing to partners across channels and region
Maintain line of sight into all marketing activities executed; serve as the key ‘go-to’ person for reporting on marketing effectiveness for all marketing-driven activities
Manage and track all available expenses to budget compliance.
Provide leadership on field requirements for integration in marketing programs development.
Ensure feedback from sales to deliver close alignment between regional marketing investment and sales requirements.
Manage marketing calendar to ensure alignment with APJ and partner programs as appropriate
Localization of marketing content
Responsible for in-country social media strategy and accounts
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or other related fields
At least 7 years of software industry field marketing, channel marketing, business development or general marketing/communications experience
Experience with technology, preferably Cloud or software, marketing
Ability to think strategically and align multiple stakeholders’ groups
Strong, demonstrated understanding of localized marketing approaches to acquisition and customer retention;
Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel extensively as needed
Strong technology skills, Eloqua, Marketo, Twitter, Linkedin, etc.
Proven track record of successfully partnering with sales management
