To configure menu transparency, you can execute the following steps:
- Press Alt + F2, and enter “ccsm”, then click Run button.
- Click General Options, and switch to Opacity Setting.
- Expand Window opacities, and click Add button.
- Enter “Tooltip | Menu | PopupMenu | DropdownMenu” in opened dialog box, and setting value “95″.

i been trying to figure that out. thanks. how do you add transparency to other programs. i.e. terminal or pidgen

I can’t find Opacity Setting, I’m using Ubuntu 8.10 and CCSM 0.7.8
